Shakira is once again helping children
Shakira is not only known worldwide for her amazing singing and astounding body movements, but for her generosity and care for the helpless children of Central and South America. Once again, the Colombian singer is getting involved in helping these children, but this time, she is taking it to political leaders. She is asking people in power of these countries to bring their attention to the education and health of those children who need it. I think that what shakira is doing is totally amazing!! these children will thank her in the future.In the foundation's page i could see how those kids were so happy to have her there, not because she's a celebrity but because she cares for them and is actually doing something to help them survive and have an education.I think taht many celebrities should help the world instead of waisting their money in things that are not NECESSARY!!
Shakira is definetly one of my favorite artists. There is so much more to her than just her natural talent on stage. She is a great role model and a great inspiration to numerous people. Hopefully other celebrities follow her great example in helping others. I belive that people who are very fortunate have a duty to help those that are less fortunate than them.
It is worthy of admiration how International icons such as Bono, Shakira, Juanes, Ricardo Montaner, use their talents for a better cause. Despite their individual foundations, Artists like Shakira, Juanes, Ricardo Montaner, Miguel Bose, have come together to form a foundation called "Alas" where the go to concerts and raise funds for those kids that lack of a legal identity because of their poverty. They have opened their eyes to the audience and fans that love to hear them sing, and motivating them to become part of a bigger cause. There are generous, unknown people that do many charity projects that can't motivate big throngs of people. On the other hand, Artists are widely known, the can motivate a bigger multitude, so I would hope that people would get involve into helping those needed. Everybody loves to be helped when help is needed, so they should also help others when others need help.
